Nobody Is Ever Missing has been accepted to The Voxel Artist Residency program in Baltimore, MD. The initial workshop and previews will take place in January with a full premiere slated for Mind on Fire’s fall 2025 season.

About the Production

Mind on Fire is a Baltimore-based ensemble dedicated to producing interdisciplinary performances and supporting new music. Following the success of ..and we, each, Nobody Is Ever Missing adds a second world-premiere opera to their 2025 season. The production will be directed by Juanita Rockwell, celebrated for her work in experimental theater and opera.

Heather Morrison stars as Elyria. A coloratura soprano praised for her clarity, Morrison is known for roles in contemporary and classic opera alike. Percussionist Shelly Purdy joins Morrison on stage, bringing her experience with experimental music to the opera’s stark sound world.
